How to set up form confirmations

Instructions

  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. On the left-hand side menu, go to Forms and hover over the form you want to edit.
  3. Click Settings, then select Confirmations from the top menu.
  4. A default confirmation will already exist. Click it to edit, or click Add New to create a new one.
  5. Choose your confirmation type from the dropdown:
    • Text: displays a message on the same page after submission
    • Page: redirects the user to another page on your site
    • Redirect: sends the user to an external URL
  6. If you selected Text, type your confirmation message in the editor. Keep it warm and clear, for example: Thanks for getting in touch. We will be in contact with you shortly.
  7. If you selected Page, choose the destination page from the dropdown. If you selected Redirect, paste in the full URL.
  8. Click Save Confirmation when done.
  9. To set up different confirmations based on a user’s answer, use the Conditional Logic toggle at the bottom of the confirmation settings.
